When designing my website, I felt it was important to include a biography page. Laser tattoo removal is a very personal treatment, and I believe clients deserve to know who they are placing their trust in. Invisible Ink is a judgement-free clinic. I am here to help people move forward, not question their past decisions.

Like many of my clients, my journey into tattoo removal began with unwanted tattoos of my own. Spontaneous choices, regrets, and “good ideas at the time” are something I understand personally, not just professionally. Those experiences shaped both my career path and the values behind Invisible Ink.

I first considered tattoo removal several years ago, but it was not until I began work on a new tattoo sleeve that my perspective truly changed. As my new design developed, I became increasingly aware of how much I disliked many of my older tattoos. During modelling work I would often ask photographers to remove them digitally, and the more I saw myself without them, the more determined I became to have them removed properly.

Although I am naturally spontaneous and impatient, laser tattoo removal captured my full attention in a way nothing else had. I became deeply interested in how lasers work, how different inks react, how skin responds to light energy, and why some treatments succeed while others fail. Research turned into training, and training quickly became a vocation.

I completed extensive laser tattoo removal education, including Core of Knowledge certification and advanced laser training, covering laser physics, skin anatomy, light energy, and treatment safety across different skin types. Studying lasers, photons, and skin biology later in life was demanding, but incredibly rewarding. I passed my examinations with a high distinction and continued to build on that foundation through practical experience.

With qualifications in place and a laser of my own, I became my first client. Standing there with the laser aimed at my own tattoo was intimidating. Heart racing, foot hovering over the pedal, I hesitated. Then I committed. That moment marked the beginning of not just treating tattoos, but truly understanding the responsibility that comes with laser tattoo removal.

From there I treated friends, family, and then clients, gaining hands-on experience and producing visible, consistent results. Over time, Invisible Ink became known for honest advice, safe practice, and strong outcomes. Reviews, recommendations, and returning clients confirmed that careful, ethical treatment matters.

Today, I am not only a specialist in laser tattoo removal, but also a qualified teacher of tattoo removal, delivering education and training to others entering the industry. I hold full CPD accreditation, allowing me to teach tattoo removal safely, professionally, and in line with recognised standards. Education is now a key part of my role, alongside clinical practice.

Technology plays an important role in modern tattoo removal, and Invisible Ink uses advanced systems including PicoSure. However, technology alone does not deliver results. Experience, assessment, education, and safe decision-making are what protect clients and practitioners alike. These principles guide both my treatments and my teaching.

Laser tattoo removal is not a quick-fix business for me. It is a long-term commitment to safety, ethics, and client confidence. I will always be honest if someone is not suitable for treatment or if expectations need adjusting. I treat every client as I would want to be treated myself.
